Why P1

Six complaints, answered one at a time.

These are the things agencies actually tell us about the system they are leaving. Each one gets a straight answer below — including where the answer has limits.

Complaint 01

Vendors that don't talk

What you have: CAD, mobile, mapping and alerting from four companies, and the seams break at 3 a.m. — when each vendor is certain the fault is with one of the others.

What we do: the console, the mobile terminal, the mapping, the station alerting and the paging are one product from one company, sharing one data model. There is no integration between them to go wrong, because there is no integration between them.

Complaint 02

Per-seat pricing games

What you have: every dispatcher, every MDT and every add-on metered and marked up, so the system gets more expensive precisely as it becomes more useful.

What we do: price the agency, not the seat. Adding a position or putting a terminal in another vehicle should be an operational decision, not a purchasing one.

Ask us directly. We will give you a number for your agency's size without a discovery call first.

Complaint 03

You can't change anything

What you have: a call layout or workflow you dislike, a change request, and a quarter of waiting.

What we do: the things agencies want to change are configuration, not code — call editor layouts, tabs and columns per position, statuses, natures, dispositions, response plans, SOPs, hotkeys and alert sounds. Your administrator changes them in an afternoon.

Where something genuinely needs code, we say so, and we tell you when it will ship.

Complaint 04

Slow, stale screens

What you have: boards that lag, statuses that fight each other, and refreshes that quietly miss an update.

What we do: changes are pushed to every open board, with polling underneath as a fallback — so a dropped push is a slower update rather than a missing one. Two dispatchers changing the same unit at the same time is caught and refused rather than silently overwritten.

Complaint 05

Mobile as an afterthought

What you have: an MDT that does not match the console, so the field and the room disagree about what is happening.

What we do: the mobile terminal reads the same incident, the same statuses and the same notes. A crew changing status in the vehicle changes it on the board, attributed to the crew. There is no reconciliation step because there are not two records.

Complaint 06

Data you can't get out

What you have: reporting locked behind exports that never quite fit NIBRS, NFIRS or NEMSIS, and a quote every time you want something else.

What we do: standard exports for all three, validated before submission, out of the same record dispatchers already filled in. The schema is documented and the data is yours — on-premises it is literally on your server.

Being straight with you

Where we are not the right answer.

A vendor who tells you they fit every agency is telling you something else.

—

You need a full records system

P1 is CAD. If your requirement is an all-in-one RMS with case management and evidence, weigh that in the comparison honestly.

—

You have no GIS data and no route to it

The geography is what makes dispatch good. We will help you get it, but somebody has to obtain it from your county or state.

—

You want the biggest name in the room

We are a small company. That is why you can talk to the people who build it — and it is a fair thing to weigh.

Next step

Put it in front of a dispatcher.

Not a slide deck and not a sales engineer clicking through a script. Your addresses, your units, and the person who will be using it at 3 a.m.
